Honestly, there needs to be an option to add more gold stars. Christy certainly earns them!!! I cannot recommend her any higher to any girl/woman who needs to make sure that the job is done right and on time for that special occasion. Christy is sweet, competent, hard working, available, and goes above and beyond what is to be expected of a seamstress/alterations specialist. Truly one of a kind.
I had a nightmare (I was a bridesmaid, and the dress was ordered 7 months in advance.. when it finally arrived on a FRIDAY just 3 days before I had to fly to Puerto Rico and didn't fit... I freaked out!) Christy came to my rescue without even knowing all that. She agreed to meet me within an hour and she promised to get it done on time. I was so relieved that I had found someone I almost didn't care if the job was done well or not. But it was, AND she even had it done EARLY!
She spent a lot of time with me on the phone and in person. She went way out of her way to fix the belt piece that had been broken in the mail, when I hadn't even notice it was broken in the fiasco. She waited for over an hour for me after she closed because I couldn't get off work in time. She added extra hooks and reinforcements and sent me home with some bubble wrap for traveling. She was so concerned for me! And guess what?
Everything turned out perfect. THANK YOU CHRISTY!! I will be back soon. :)
Coming from someone who's been in a dozen weddings and attended 3x as many special events...You do not want to take a risk with alterations, and thus you could not ask for anyone better than Christy. Seriously, you won't find anyone better than her on the whole east coast!!

Just wanted to send you a photo of Erin in her gown. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a perfect night for a cruise wedding.
Thank you for the perfect job you did on Erin's gown and especially for working with us on altering the gown as close to her wedding date as possible. Most other alteration places would not even talk to us about having her gown altered so close to her date.

Hi Christy,
You altered a cashmere coat for me about a month ago – my mom picked it up for me right before Thanksgiving. I just wanted to let you know that you work was wonderful! You did such a great job and I am so pleased with the final result. I have worn that coat so often since it’s been altered and so many people compliment it – and I always make sure to tell them that it was originally too big and that you did the alterations for it. Even though I don’t live in the area anymore I am still recommending your shop – I think your work is worth the drive.
